Leather Knife Sheath Tooling

Class description:

Hands on introduction to embossing and stamping leather with basket weave set stamp. Students will learn to run a basket stamp which is the basis for all geometric and set stamps. Class will learn how to "case" leather in order achieve max color, clarity and depth of design. Students will also learn to use swivel knife to cut borders. The skills learned in this class are basics to learn actual leather carving on a knife sheath they will take home - KNIFE INCLUDED.

Note: The knife in the photo is the style of knife we will provide and you will own after the class. Its handmade by Anza Knives in San Diego, CA and has a three inch blade made from high carbon steel with a stag horn handle.
