Last year Shelter Social Club developed two new projects. First, the Ojai Rancho Inn and 2nd, Sama Sama Test Kitchen. Make Smith Leather Company co-designed these two leather pieces with Leo Basica for Shelter Social Club. We then handmade them in our Santa Barbara, CA workshop.
Make Smith Leather Company has the pleasure of announcing our newest product co-design project, for and with, Torchlight Jewelry based in California. The Mountain Clutch was inspired by your dream flea market finds. Each one is tooled, etched, hand dyed and distressed to vintage perfection.

Remove your original hardware and use the length of the holes for a measurement guide, for new placements measure to taste . Allow for slight overlap. Cut strips of leather or belt by using sharp scissors or exacto knife. To puncture hole, use a hammer and nail (or an awl or screw punch). Thread your screws into leather hole and then through your drawer or cabinet. Fasten with your washer and nut. Make sure it is secure, to tighten use pliers.

4. Leather Key chain with clip - These leather key chains features a solid metal snap clip for quick release from your belt loop. Each piece is hand-cut and made to order using US top grain leather. Hand-stamped initials can be forged on the back. $35
5. Leather credit card sleeve - This piece is very popular with guys that only carry the essentials. Its now known as the front pocket wallet. Its hand stitched with sinew thread and hand died for a rustic look. Each piece is made to order and can be custom embossed. $55
